You have almost 400 feet facing Daugherty. My gut tells me that it is IDEAL for commercial, retail, or a strip shopping center (We NEED good shopping in the area! Right now people from both towns are having to drive to Gulfport or Bay St. Louis to access variety at a reasonable price.)
Another idea that someone could put to work is:
*keep the back 3 acres zoned R-1 (that should keep neighbors happy)
* And Zone the front 2 + acres for whatever new purpose is conceived.
The cottage is useable in present condition. The barn/stables are also useable. If used, I am sure redecorating and updating would need to be done. I see the cottage as being appropriately used as an office or retail outlet.

FSBO property in Long Beach has to be nice. I remember being there after Katrina hit and thinking to myself what a wonderful neighborhood it must have been before that mess. The people there were so nice and i hope to visit again in the near future. Great people and nice area overall.
